Subject: Check out the other versions
There are two other versions of the full show loaded here, both from the same original source. One sounds about the same, but the other stands out with improved sound. Check it out before settling.

This show is totally listenable and the Other One is amazing. Hits on themes familiar to this tour, meaning, do not miss this just because it is not a SBD.

Subject: Crappy Sound
Horrible sound - how can you enjoy this kind of sound when there are so many other great shows from 72, with excellent sound!

Subject: Have to disagree about the sound
I just listened to Truckin>Drums>Other One,Sing Me Back Home. I find that the sound is WAY better than either 4/7/72 or 4/14/72. There is some high scratchy sound at points, SMBH is cut to hell, and there's a section in Truckin just before the final chorus that sounds like the mic stand tipped over and was recording at seat level. Other than that section, you can hear every instrument with reasonable clarity.

I'm giving it 4 stars - 3 for the recording, 5+ for the music. The Other One is a BEAST! Given that soundboards can no longer be downloaded, this one may be well worth it.

Subject: First Show
This was my first Grateful Dead gig. It was my 18th birthday and I went with a girl called Melony. Of course it was magnificent. Just my luck that this seems to be the only show you can't find in high quality. Some of it is on the excellent 'Steppin Out.

Pretty much what the guy before me said...poor quality which is too bad. The run at the Strand was a great way to end the tour. Believe it or not, some of these tunes supposedly made it onto Euro 72 and Steppin Out. Not worth the download but definately worth it just to stream and think how cool it would have been to be there. An otherwise great performance.

thought I'm sure this was a great show. The quailty is lacking.
